Velvet Night on the Misty
Echo of Three Borders
Why is Russia unique for natural research?
Russia has regions with minimal light pollution. It is precisely here that scientists,
astronomers, and sky enthusiasts can observe the deep star fields, the Milky Way,
and faint cosmic objects invisible in more densely populated areas.
Why choose a river cruise combined with astronomy studies specifically in
Primorye?
Primorye is a place where nature, geography, and atmospheric clarity work in your
favor. Located at the intersection of sea breezes, mountain ranges, and rivers, the
region offers crystal-clear skies over the Russian Far East.
Most importantly, this is where the tourism project “Tumangan Route” is being
developed.
What makes the “Tumangan Route” a magnet for water-based itineraries and
astronomical observation?
River routes along the Tumannaya River and its associated trails run far from
major cities, offering open panoramic views of the night sky.
Its unique geographical position—as a borderland and crossroads of cultures—
adds further distinction: this is where Russia, China, and North Korea meet.
The rich cultural and historical layers of this region greatly enhance the expedition
experience.
